What happened to Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's baby from nine months ago? Back in September, a celebrity magazine alleged Baldwin was pregnant with the couple's first child. At the time, Gossip Cop reported it was untrue, and now it's clear the story was a complete fabrication.
In September 2018, In Touch published a piece about how after getting getting earlier that month, there was a good chance Baldwin was "pregnant" with Bieber's baby. There was no proof whatsoever for its contention. It vaguely claimed the two were spotted at a doctor's office in Beverly Hills, and that the singer felt Baldwin was the person he wanted to be the "mother of his children."
But as Gossip Cop noted back then, marrying and wanting kids with someone doesn't mean that person is pregnant. The reality was that the tabloid didn't have any concrete information. It did nothing more than speculate that Baldwin was pregnant and carrying Bieber's baby simply because they had tied the knot and were supposedly seen at a medical office, which of course could be for anything.
Conversely, Gossip Cop reached out to Bieber's camp, and we were assured they weren't having a kid. Now fast-forward nine months later, and obviously the couple didn't have a baby. In fact, Baldwin was seen in L.A. on Monday flaunting her tight abs and slim figure.
This wasn't the only off-base tale about Baldwin expecting. Two months ago, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid's sister publication, OK!, when it falsely maintained on its cover that Bieber walked out on a pregnant Baldwin. In that manufactured article, the outlet quoted what it swore was an insider as contending Bieber "ended things for good... putting a damper on parenthood." Again, Baldwin was not carrying his child, and the couple is still very much together. Just a week ago, Baldwin posted a photo on Instagram of her being tender with Bieber, alongside a caption that reads, "safe place. happy place."
It bears mentioning that after its inaccurate story about the couple expecting, In Touch did not get any better with its reporting about them. In March, for example, the publication insisted Bieber and Baldwin were on the verge of a split because of his depression. The magazine asserted Baldwin was "miserable" from taking care of her husband, which was "not what she signed up for." As opposed to the outlet's article, which was based on unverifiable quotes from an anonymous tipster, Bieber's own rep told Gossip Cop that talk about him and Baldwin getting divorced was "nonsense."
Bieber and Baldwin will have kids one day. They've both been open about how much they like and want children. But it hasn't happened yet, despite all the phony claims by the tabloids. When they do have baby news, expect it to come from more reliable outlets and to be confirmed by Gossip Cop.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
