Watch VMAs Red Carpet Online 2017

Sunday’s 2017 MTV Video Music Awards are getting underway with a red carpet pre-show. Check out the live stream below!

According to MTV, this year’s “pre-show spectacle will be supersized.” Instead of only airing on television and only kicking off right before the VMAs ceremony, the festivities will actually begin broadcasting online at 6 p.m. Eastern. The online-only feed will be fans’ first chance to see the arrivals and special performances. Once the clock strikes 7 p.m., the red carpet pre-show will not only step into high gear, but also start airing on MTV as well.

Lil Yachty, who is nominated for three awards tonight, was chosen to co-host the pre-show, alongside Terrence J, Charlamagne Tha God and Gaby Wilson. Terrence J is best known for his years hosting “106 & Park” and “E! News,” while Charlamagne Tha God can be heard weekday mornings on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” which is syndicated nationally. And Wilson is a correspondent for MTV News. In the days leading up to the VMAs, she did sit-down interviews with many of the nominees and performers, clips of which will likely be shown during the pre-show.

In addition to the star-studded red carpet, the outdoor pre-show will also feature a stage for performances from Khalid, Cardi B and Jack Antonoff (pictured above). Khalid, who is nominated tonight for Best New Artist, is set to perform a mash-up of “Location” and “Young Dumb & Broke.” He’ll also be featured during the main ceremony for a performance with Logic and Alessia Cara.

Cardi B is slated to rap “Bodak Yellow,” which has ranked well on the Billboard charts. It peaked at number 3 on the Hot 100 and went to the second spot on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list. As for Bleachers, Jack Antonoff will play “Don’t Take The Message” during the pre-show, as well as present during the actual awards show. The fun will keep going until at least 11 p.m. NOTE: The live stream is no longer available.
