Warren Sapp plead guilty to domestic violence on Thursday for beating and biting his girlfriend of five years, Chalyce Moore, in Las Vegas on April 28. The NFL Hall of Famer was first slapped with three counts of domestic violence, but two of the charges were dropped in exchange for him pleading guilty.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Sapp first threw a margarita at Moore’s face while at the pool of the M Resort Spa Casino. The fight then got more physical as they made their way through the hotel’s lobby, where he was caught on surveillance tape taking her arm and knocking her down. But that wasn’t the end of the quarrel.

While the couple drove back to her home, Sapp allegedly bit her left middle finger, causing it to bleed. Once they arrived at her condo, he allegedly threw her to the ground and repeatedly stomped on her head, leaving Moore’s arms, legs, and head bruised and swollen.

As a result of Sapp’s guilty plea, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star must attend six months of domestic violence counseling, perform 48 hours worth of community service, and pay $2,895 in restitution and fines. Sapp must also not have any contact with Moore for six months or get in any sort of trouble.

Trouble has followed Sapp, who came in second on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2008, losing to dancing pair Brooke Burke and Derek Hough. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Sapp was arrested one day before the Super Bowl in 2010 on a domestic battery charge for allegedly choking a woman at his hotel. And in February 2015, the former football great was busted for soliciting and assaulting two prostitutes a day after the Super Bowl. That arrest cost Sapp his sports commentator job on the NFL Network.
