Victoria Beckham is not upset about her “time apart” from her husband David, nor is it “causing a rift” in their marriage, despite a factually inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this string of untruths. We’re told it’s complete “nonsense.”
Lazily picking up a story from the tabloid magazine Now, RadarOnline maintains that Victoria is “becoming increasingly concerned” that all the time she’s spending away from her husband is wreaking havoc on their marriage. “They are not seeing one another that much this summer,” notes the website, adding that the fashion designer is “concerned about the predicament.” The outlet then quote a supposed “insider” as telling Now, “[Victoria] doesn’t want to look back in 10 years and regret not spending this time together.”
Other than that, the site has no other information. It also notes that their rep “declined to comment.” Maybe the reason their spokesperson didn’t respond to RadarOnline is because the webloid has published so many false claims about them in the past. Their rep, however, exclusively tells Gossip Cop, the story is “all nonsense.”
Not only is the contention that they’re experiencing a marital “rift” patently false, but even the claim that they recently haven’t spent much time together is 100 percent wrong. In fact, just four days ago, Victoria posted a picture of herself with David at an exhibit of their son Brooklyn’s photos. And the couple were also together last week at the Glastonbury Festival. Sadly, Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised by the latest inaccurate article.
Last year, RadarOnline published a slew of stories that wrongly maintained there was trouble in the Beckhams’ marriage. After the webloid published an article that asserted Victoria and David were close to making a divorce announcement, a rep shot down the allegation and exclusively assured Gossip Cop, “There is not one ounce of truth to this story. Anyone saying it is on a form of hallucinogenic drugs and should come back to reality.” Unfortunately, the outlet is a year older, but not a year wiser.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
