Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are not renewing their vows after supposedly saving their marriage, despite a false tabloid story. Everything about the report is wrong. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
Star published a piece this week alleging the spouses of 20 years are renewing their vows as a “sweet way to come full circle” following supposed marriage problems. A so-called “insider” says, “They’re in a great place right now, after doing a lot of work to repair their relationship over the past year.”
The outlet’s questionable source adds some dubious details, saying, “There’ll be a cocktail party in London beforehand, and the main event will likely be at their country estate.” There are some holes in this quote alone. The country estate the couple purchased together earlier this year is in the Cotswolds, about a two-hour drive from Central London, where the first half of the ceremony is supposedly taking place. That sure makes for a long day for their guests. The outlet doesn’t bother to mention the location of the country estate because it wouldn’t fit the fake narrative.
In reality, the Beckhams aren’t renewing their vows and didn’t save a marriage that wasn’t in need of saving. The publication is likely trying to cover its tracks after past claims about the couple’s marriage being on the rocks. It’s simply trying to save face by insisting they’ve now fixed their problems. Those problems never existed. The whole tale falls apart under any scrutiny at all. Gossip Cop confirmed this with Victoria’s rep, who tells us on the record that the story is “all nonsense.”
Star has been wrong countless times in the past when it comes to the Beckhams. Just a month and a half ago, the magazine published a false report claiming David was ordering Victoria to quit drinking. The vicious article alleged that Victoria was an anorexic alcoholic, two things that have never been true. The article also takes a shot at David, claiming he’s “no angel” in the marriage. Gossip Cop debunked the publication’s story as mean-spirited, and worse, providing no evidence that any of the claims were true.
That story followed an earlier one from the tabloid in August 2018 that also made mean, false claims, alleging the Beckhams were divorcing because David had impregnated their daughter’s teacher. Gossip Cop busted the outlet for its false story, and once again, time has shown our reporting to far more reliable when it comes to couple.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
