Vanessa Minnillo does not want “revenge” on Jessica Simpson, despite an entirely fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the made-up claim. We’re told it’s complete “bullsh*t.”

According to RadarOnline, Minnillo, who’s married to Nick Lachey, wants to “have it out” with her husband’s ex-wife. The webloid alleges that Minnillo wants to “take Simpson down for bashing her man.” The blog then has a so-called “insider” quoted as saying, “Vanessa is steaming mad and out for revenge,” after Simpson cracked during a TV appearance that her “biggest money mistake” was getting divorced from Lachey.

The webloid’s seemingly fake “source” claims Minnillo’s “really pissed,” and felt the comment was “a real low blow.” The same supposed “source” adds, “Vanessa and Nick live a very modest life compared to Jess. Jessica makes out that he walked out with all her cash and left her destitute. Well, that’s total baloney.”

Before Gossip Cop gets into how Minnillo really feels about this, it’s worth pointing out that even people who aren’t celebrity reporters should be able to figured out that this RadarOnline story is a fabrication. Look at the last sentence that we quoted from the webloid’s “source.” The site’s alleged “insider” called Simpson “Jess” and then one word later referred to her as “Jessica.” No true “insider” would go back and forth between those names. It would be like calling Lachey “Nick” and then calling him “Nicholas” the very next moment.

Regardless of the webloid’s made up quotes, Minnillo and Gossip Cop have a friend in common, and we’re told she’s not “pissed” or “mad” at Simpson nor is she seeking “revenge.” We’re exclusively assured the site’s whole story is “bullsh*t.”
