The U.S. Men’s Basketball Team will begin its 2016 Olympic journey on Saturday with the first preliminary game against China. Watch the live stream below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the Rio Olympics had its opening ceremony on Friday, officially kicking off the 2016 games. During the day on Saturday, it was wall-to-wall sports with gymnastics, cycling, water polo, volleyball and more. Now the basketball tournament is getting underway.

Like in Olympic soccer, it begins with what’s called the “group stage.” All six teams in “Group A,” which includes the U.S., are playing on Saturday night. In this preliminary round, every team in the group will have to play one another to determine who makes it to the quarterfinals, which are slated to begin on August 17.

And the U.S. team is chockfull of notable NBA players, including current champion Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Others taking the court include Draymond Green, Carmelo Anthony, Jimmy Butler, and Kyle Lowry. That’s in addition to Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan, DeMarcus Cousins, Paul George, and Klay Thompson.

Following China, Team USA will next face Venezuela on Monday. But let’s take things one game at a time, starting with tonight’s match-up at 6 p.m. Eastern at the Carioca Arena 1 in Rio de Janeiro. NOTE: Live stream is no longer available.
