Tyga never got “revenge” on Kylie Jenner with his own reality show, despite a claim a year ago. At the time, it was falsely alleged he planned to team up with Scott Disick on TV to spite their exes. Gossip Cop busted the story 365 days ago, and now it’s clear were right. No such series ever happened.

This bogus narrative was originally started by OK!, which claimed Tyga and Disick wanted to do a joint reality show about their “bad-boy lifestyles.” The tabloid alleged they planned to take a Girls Gone Wild approach, by having cameras film them “carousing with women” in luxurious locales. Jenner was described as “livid” over the series, while it was asserted Kourtney Kardashian was “riled up, too.” An impeccable insider close to Tyga, however, told Gossip Cop on the condition of anonymity that the rapper and Disick never even heard about this purported project until the gossip magazine ran its story.

In other words, the tale about this supposed reality show was made-up and no such program was actually in the works. But after we debunked the report, HollywoodLife decided not only to repeat the untrue contentions, but embellish them further. On April 16, 2017, we called out the site for insisting Tyga was looking to get “revenge” on Jenner through this (nonexistent) reality show. The blog maintained the performer was “bitter” over “Life of Kylie” getting greenlit, and wanted to “retaliate” by scoring a show of his own.

As the story went, Tyga was hoping it would “drive Kylie insane to see him living it up all over the world with beautiful women,” and Disick was encouraging the project because he supposedly found it “funny” to see Jenner and Kardashian “freak out.” But this was all based on a false premise. As Gossip Cop had already confirmed, Tyga and Disick had no plans to shoot a reality show together. And if the blog really had a “source,” as it claimed in its phony “exclusive,” it would’ve known that.

The online publication wanted to appear knowledgeable by offering a related story to a tabloid article. But all it really did was prove itself to be source-less and clueless, as Gossip Cop said at the time. Now a full 12 months have passed, and it’s evident that we were correct. Disick and Tyga never teamed up for a reality show in any form, let alone one that featured them cavorting around with women to upset their exes. Tyga was cast in a new season of MTV’s “Scream,” but that’s the only TV endeavor he’s taken on in the last year, aside from a guest appearance on “Hip Hop Squares” in October.

Additionally, far from getting “revenge” on his former love, in February Tyga confirmed he still communicates with Jenner, and said there’s “no bad blood” between them. Gossip Cop wouldn’t blame the music star, though, if he had bad blood with HollywoodLies, as the website is known, for spreading falsehoods about him.
