A new report claiming Tyga is "stepping in" to help Kylie Jenner with her pregnancy in Travis Scott's "absence" is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this report, which comes from a website known for its fabricated stories. We're told it's "not true."

According to HollywoodLife, which has posted a slew of articles tying Tyga to Jenner's pregnancy, the rapper is "ready to catch" his ex-girlfriend when Scott "breaks her heart," and is "fine being her backup plan." In its newly manufactured story, the outlet ridiculously asserts that Jenner, who is expecting her "reported first child" with Scott, has "turned to an old friend for support during this difficult time." A so-called "source" is then quoted as telling the often discredited website, "It gives her a lot of comfort to have Tyga there. He always texts her right back, even if she calls in the middle of the night he picks up. In a lot of ways he's more solid than Travis."

But that's not all. The site's seemingly fake "insider" goes on to contend, "If [Scott had] been more attentive she never would have been vulnerable to Tyga. Kylie feels like Travis is to blame for this whole situation, not her." The blog's questionable Jenner "source" further purports that until Scott "proves he can be counted on, Kylie's going to keep Tyga around, he's a security blanket, a backup plan."

Of course, this latest article comes from the same outlet that has recently been churning out a slew of fake news stories connecting the past exes, including a post two days ago that falsely and bizarrely alleged Jenner is using Tyga for "attention." Regardless, Gossip Cop fact-checked the claim and a source close to the reality star tells us the new HollywoodLife report is 100 percent "not true." Tyga is not "stepping in" to help Jenner with her pregnancy in Scott's "absence," nor is he her "backup plan." In fact, last year Tyga made clear he wouldn't get back together with Jenner, so he certainly isn't going to step in and help out with her child from another man.

Additionally, as Gossip Cop has pointed out on numerous occasions, no one legitimately close to Jenner is talking to the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies about her pregnancy. Also, if that website isn't even sure that Jenner is expecting and needs to repeatedly state that she's "reportedly" pregnant, how can one possibly believe it knows that Tyga is "stepping in" to help her through the process? It's simply all made-up.

Our Verdict
