Tyga’s landlord is trying to evict him from his $4.8 million home in the Hollywood Hills, it was reported on Friday. The specifics of why the property owner wants the rapper kicked out aren’t clear, however Tyga was issued last week with an unlawful detainer notice, a serious legal action that a landlord is only allowed to carry out if a tenant has broken the terms of their lease.

Tyga, according to the New York Post, is supposed to pay $17,000 a month in rent for his lavish dwelling, where he’s been living since December and which includes multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and a pool. This isn’t the first time the rapper has been involved in a legal battle with a landlord. Last August, the musician was ordered to leave the Calabasas home where he’d been staying, and to pay the landlord $70,000 in back rent. And months prior to that incident, the rapper was required to pay a different landlord $80,000 in unpaid rent.

There were reports back in November, shortly before Tyga moved into his Hollywood Hills, that the rapper was living with on-again, off-again girlfriend Kylie Jenner. A source close to the situation, however, exclusively told Gossip Cop that the two didn’t live together and “never have.” Gossip Cop will update as the details surrounding Tyga’s latest eviction are further revealed.
