Larry the Cable Guy slammed Hillary Clinton during a Fox News interview on Tuesday, expressing his belief that if the Democratic presidential nominee wins the election, it “will be the end of the country.” Twitter is now reacting to the comedian’s political remarks. See reactions below!

“I know who I’m not voting for. I’ll give you the initials… Hillary Clinton,” the comic said when asked about the two presidential nominees. “Hillary will be the end of the country. That’s all I got to say.” However, he didn’t quite endorse Donald Trump either, admitting he’s torn between the GOP nominee and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

Larry the Cable Guy immediately began trending on Twitter following the interview, with people on both sides of the spectrum sounding off. One user commented, “The world is laughing at us for having Trump as a candidate. Now Larry the Cable Guy talking politics is trending. CAN WE JUST VOTE ALREADY!” Another person stated about the self-proclaimed “Blue Collar” comedian, “Larry the Cable Guy being a Trump supporter is the least surprising news I’ve ever heard.” And yet another Twitter user cracked, “If we’ve come to the point where Larry the Cable Guy matters in a presidential election – then we are all truly screwed.”

There were, however, many fans of the comedian who agreed with his political sentiment. One Twitter user said, “People criticizing Larry the Cable Guy are the same folks who get their news from Jon Stewart.” Another fan tweeted, “Oh look the dummies are going nuts because Larry the Cable guy spoke the truth about their Queen Hillary.” And another person expressed, “Larry the Cable Guy’s single comment about Hillary brings out all the hate from the liberals. So much for their fake ‘Love Trumps Hate’ BS.”
