It’s been almost three years since Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was released, and the Twilight Saga producers are proud to see what stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have gone on to accomplish.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter tied to their latest film Paper Towns, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen reflect on their own career, and that of two of the biggest stars they’ve worked with. Asked if they keep in touch with the Twilight cast, Godfrey says, “We keep in touch with all of them in the way you keep in touch with actors who have busy lives and are half your age.”

“Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on together,” reveals the producer. “They’ve each been really smart about the way they’ve followed up their Twilight careers in that they’ve not jumped into big studio fare in general. They’ve chosen directors and movies based on the movie, not the size of the movie.”

Godfrey goes on to specifically praise Stewart and Pattinson, saying, “Kristen being the first American actress to win a Cesar was pretty f*cking cool. And Rob’s just worked with a string of people you’d want to be on your filmography when you’re done.”

The THR magazine feature includes a look inside Godfrey and Wyck’s production offices. Among the items they have on display are Nerf guns gifted to them by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.
