Travis Scott may be getting pregnancy advice from Kanye West, but Gossip Cop is assured no one close to the rappers is leaking such personal information to an untrustworthy blog. In fact, this seems to be a made-up story that mimics another manufactured report about Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Allow us to explain.
HollywoodLife published a story in which it claimed to have "learned exclusively" that Kardashian was urging Jenner to "embrace her sexy pregnancy curves." The article was essentially about the older sister supporting the younger during the latter's pregnancy. Hours later, it apparently dawned on the site to do the same kind of report about their significant others. So, following a post about Kardashian advising Jenner came a post about West advising Scott. The methodology is completely transparent.
According to this similar tale, the outlet "EXCLUSIVELY learned" Scott has "been turning" to West "for all the details on how to handle" Jenner's pregnancy. A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "Travis has been getting advice from Kanye on the best way to help Kylie get through this, basically how to handle her pregnancy hormones." Naturally, a comparison is drawn to Kardashian. The supposed snitch maintains, "Kim's pregnancies were both very tough and Kanye struggled at first to say and do the right things. Kanye's big piece of advice for Travis was that no matter where he is in the world Kylie needs his attention, and it has to be reliable."
It's not out of the realm of possibility that Scott is looking to West for guidance. In fact, it's actually quite likely. Scott and West have been connected through G.O.O.D. Music for years, and the younger performer even once referred to West as a "stepdad"-like figure toward him. But that doesn't mean HollywoodLies, as it's known, actually has genuine insight on West preparing his protege for fatherhood.
Just like real sources legitimately close to Kardashian and Jenner don't go spilling about personal, or even professional, matters to the online publication, nor do those close to West. Gossip Cop actually proved the blog just makes things up as it goes along last month when it claimed Kardashian and West were unaware of the sex of their child, despite previously doing a story about the baby being a girl. HollywoodLies can't keep its narrative straight because its tales are so often concocted.
West's camp hasn't commented to any other publication about involvement he may or may not have in Scott's journey to parenthood with Jenner's pregnancy. Yet this webloid, the same site that actually claimed West was going to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration, now wants readers to believe it has a real scoop about something so private. It wants people to actually think someone chose to leak these intimate details to them as opposed to a well-trusted and internationally respected outlet. Perhaps needless to say, but Gossip Cop's own contacts confirm this is not something anyone should buy.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
