Tom Hiddleston is "still embarrassed" over his relationship with Taylor Swift, claims a new report. The story, however, is fake news and not grounded in reality. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth behind this latest fabrication.
According to the often disproven Celeb Dirty Laundry, Hiddleston "didn't appear too excited to be at Comic-Con" this year, alleging the Thor: Ragnarok actor looked "sad" and "unhappy" during his appearance at the event held last weekend in San Diego. Without any evidence or sources to back up its claim, the site maintains Hiddleton is "still embarrassed" by his "whirlwind romance" with Swift, which forced him to keep a "low profile" at the annual convention.
The blog further contends that Hiddleston's "brief" relationship with the singer has damaged his Hollywood career. "Hiddleston has been a fan favorite at the San Diego Comic-Con, but this year, fans of the actor were left disappointed when he chose to ignore them and the media," adds the outlet. Not surprisingly, CDL doesn't even have a single person quoted to back up its flimsy premise.
Irrespective of the webloid's well-documented history of publishing inaccurate stories about the former couple, Gossip Cop still investigated. A source close to the situation assures us the site's latest report is simply "not true." And there are numerous photos of Hiddleston on the Thor: Ragnarok panel at Comic-Con looking anything but "unhappy" and "sad." Also, Hiddleston's career has not been hurt by his relationship with Swift. In addition to the upcoming Thor movie, he's set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War next year.
What's more, the actor was never "embarrassed" about his romance with the superstar singer. As Gossip Cop reported, Hiddleston spoke about his relationship with Swift in a GQ cover story, insisting their connection was "real." In the interview, he said of his ex-girlfriend, "Taylor is an amazing woman. She's generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time. She's incredible."
Oddly, even though Hiddleston and Swift are no longer dating, CDL seems fixated on still fabricating fake news about them. Remember, this new bogus tale comes from the same site that falsely reported in April how Hiddleston was "still in love" with Swift and was "pining" for the singer. That article was entirely wrong, and the same goes for the current story about Hiddleston at Comic-Con.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
