A tabloid is involving Tom Cruise in the false rumors about Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx supposedly deciding to have a baby together. Of course, the two aren't planing to have child, despite Cruise now being dragged into this bogus narrative. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.
On Wednesday, Life & Style published a phony report about Holmes and Foxx starting a family together. However, a rep for the actor exclusively told Gossip Cop that the claim was "completely inaccurate," while a source close to the actress echoed that sentiment. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped the unreliable magazine from further speculating about what Cruise will think of his ex-wife and Collateral co-star having a child together.
"Don't think for one minute that Tom won't be bothered if she gets pregnant by Jamie," a so-called "source" tells the outlet. "He won't be happy for Katie, and especially not Jamie, whom he once considered a good friend." The alleged insider goes on to say that Cruise "was livid" when he first heard about their relationship, adding, "He wants you to think he's above these feelings, but how can he be?"
As Gossip Cop noted, Holmes and Foxx have zero plans to have a child together, so this entire article is based on a false premise. Regardless, we're told that Cruise, who's been estranged from his ex-wife for the past few years, hasn't expressed an opinion on her relationship with Foxx. Also, the tabloid's assertion that the movie star "won't be happy" about Holmes getting pregnant is completely moot, considering it's not happening.
Although Holmes and Foxx casually date, it's widely understood that the two have their own separate lives. In fact, People recently reported that while the pair enjoy spending time together, they "aren't focused on what's next or what the future holds." Gossip Cop can also confirm that the actor and actress don't envision babies in their future.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
