The tabloids frequently allege Tom Cruise is feuding with other celebrities. Gossip Cop has debunked many of the actor's supposed battles with other stars. Here are five wrong rumors.

In February, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline for falsely claiming Cruise has been in a secret feud with Brad Pitt for 25 years. The blog maintained that the two movie stars have hated each other ever since co-starring together in 1994's Interview with the Vampire. The story was based on claims from an anonymous "source," but Pitt's spokesperson told us on the record it was completely untrue. In fact, Pitt attended Cruise's honor at the Artists Rights Foundation awards gala several years after the release of Interview with the Vampire.

In September 2018, Gossip Cop corrected a phony Star story about Nicole Kidman fighting Cruise to save their son Connor from Scientology. The magazine said the actress didn't want her son involved in the controversial religion and was trying to convince him to flee the church. Kidman's own rep, however, assured us the article was completely fabricated. Two months after we debunked the report, Kidman opened up in an interview about her adopted children's involvement in Scientology. The actress noted her kids "able to make their own decisions" and it's her "job to love them" no matter how they chose to live their lives.

Gossip Cop called out RadarOnline in February 2018 for making up a story about Cruise being in a fierce competition with Daniel Craig to be the top movie "action hero." The story emerged shortly after Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt for Mission: Impossible - Fallout. According to the blog, the actor only sustained the injury because he was trying to outdo Craig, who does many of his own stunts in the James Bond films. Both of Cruise and Craig's camps denied they had any sort of rivalry. Meanwhile, Cruise has been doing his own stunts since the start of the Mission: Impossible franchise back in 1996, so the premise made little sense.

In January 2018, Gossip Cop debunked a bogus Star story claiming Cruise was "at war" with Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx. The publication alleged that the movie star was trying to "sabotage" the romance between his ex-wife and his Collateral co-star. In reality, Cruise and Holmes have been estranged for several years and the movie star isn't involving himself in her love life. Sources close to the situation assured us at the time that the report was entirely false. Holmes and Foxx are still together and Cruise never attempted to tear them apart.

And finally, Gossip Cop busted OK! back in 2016 for wrongly alleging Cruise had a "long-running feud" with George Clooney. The tabloid claimed Clooney "has never liked" the fellow movie star and found it "pathetic" that he still insisted on being an action star at his age. The magazine further alleged that Cruise was somehow aware of how Clooney felt and was "not happy" about it. Sources close to both stars assured us at the time there were simply no issues between them. Last year, Cruise offered a message of support to Clooney following the actor's scooter accident in Italy.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
