Tom Cruise and Vanessa Kirby are not dating, despite a number of inaccurate reports that are dominating news searches. Gossip Cop, however, has the truth and can exclusively correct this claim about Kirby being the actor's new girlfriend. We're told it's "untrue."
According to RadarOnline, for example, Cruise is supposedly "head-over-heels" for his co-star, and was spotted "locking lips" with Kirby on the set of their new action movie, Mission: Impossible 6. A so-called "source" tells the webloid, "He's blown away by her endless charm and energy," adding that he made sure to cast the actress in a major role in the franchise's sixth installment. As soon as Cruise met Kirby, they had "instant chemistry," alleges the tipster.
And it wasn't just them that spread this fake news. The Independent, for instance, achieved "Top Stories" status on Google by falsely referring to the blonde actress as Cruise's rumored "girlfriend." The Sun is no better. It also is receiving traffic from wrongly maintaining that Cruise and Kirby are "dating." But it's all lies, and search engines and readers are getting duped (see below).
Let Gossip Cop set the record straight on this (regurgitated) claim. A source involved in the production assures us the entire report is "untrue," and Cruise and Kirby are 100 percent not dating. Insiders connected to both stars confirm to us Kirby is not Cruise's new girlfriend. What's really going on is there are several photos of the co-stars kissing as part of a scene in the upcoming Mission: Impossible movie, and many outlets are simply speculating (or manufacturing tales) about them having a relationship off-camera. Cruise is not "head-over-heels" for his co-star, and any claims made otherwise are simply fabricated.
What's more, Gossip Cop actually already busted this unfounded report when In Touch (and subsequently Perez Hilton) falsely alleged Cruise and Kirby were dating. It wasn't true then, and it's no more true now because of photos from the movie's set or freshly made-up quotes. If you want real news, you've got Gossip Cop. If you want fake news, sadly it's still dominating search engine results.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
