Tom Cruise does not feel “betrayed” by Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can expose this manufactured story, which was published by HollywoodLife. We’re told it’s “not true.”
In its latest fabrication, the repeatedly discredited outlet purports to have “exclusive” details on how Cruise feels about Foxx dating his ex-wife. According to the webloid’s so-called “source,” the Mission Impossible actor has “known about Katie and Jamie’s secret relationship since the beginning,” and “it has always bothered him that they were hooking up.” The site’s alleged “insider” goes on to contend, “While Katie and Jamie did their best to keep things a secret from the world, Tom is too well-connected and found out about them shortly after their romance began.”
What’s more, the website’s questionable “source” further purports that Cruise, who starred alongside Foxx in 2004’s Collateral, “is shocked and upset that Katie is dating a costar he once considered a close friend. He feels betrayed by both of them.” It’s a “bro-code violation,” adds the untrustworthy blog.
Gossip Cop, however, looked into the outlet’s latest claim, and it comes as no surprise that HollywoodLife has concocted yet another phony tale from one of this week’s hot topics. Predictably, an impeccable source close to Cruise assures us the website’s report is “not true.” The actor does not feel “betrayed” by Holmes and Foxx, and any claims made otherwise are simply false.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has busted HollywoodLies, as its often nicknamed, for posting an inaccurate story about the three celebrities. Just yesterday, we corrected the website for wrongly claiming Holmes and Foxx came out as a couple because they were “tired of living a lie.” Much like that bogus report, this latest article is equally fictional.
