American Made was in a close battle to win the box office, but ultimately Tom Cruise’s latest film lost to It, though it still narrowly beat out Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Get the details, and check out the full Top 10 from this weekend’s movies below!

American Made reunited Cruise with his Edge of Tomorrow director, Doug Liman. Based on a true story, the crime film focuses on Barry Seal, a former TWA pilot who became a drug smuggler and then a DEA informant. Cruise has received rave reviews for his performance, but that wasn’t enough to help propel the movie to the top spot. Regaining first place was the horror film It, which had $17.3 million in ticket sales.

Cruise’s movie, however, edged out last week’s chart-topper, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, for the second position, earning $17.016 million. American Made beat third place finisher Kingsman by just $16,000. Coming in fourth place was The Lego Ninjago Movie, which made $12 million. And nabbing fifth with $6.7 million was the Flatliners remake, which certainly flatlined with a zero percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Emma Stone and Steve Carell’s Battle of the Sexes in sixth with $3.4 million. American Assassin, obviously not to be confused with American Made, took seventh with a mere $3.3 million. Securing eighth place was Home Again with $1.8 million, while Til Death Do Us Part came in ninth with $1.6 million. Just making it into the Top 10 was the Jennifer Lawrence film Mother!. It earned a meager $1.5 million.
