A new report alleges The Weeknd "would love to have babies" with Selena Gomez, but the details of the story are entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this fabrication, which was posted by HollywoodLife.
In its latest concoction, the often disproven outlet states the obvious, but tries to convince its readers it has been told by a supposed "source" close to The Weeknd that the rapper has "babies on the brain." In a so-called "exclusive," which is merely guesswork, the website's questionable insider claims The Weeknd "has thought about starting a family with Selena at some point down the line."
The site's dubious "source" goes on to contend in bizarrely unnatural language that the rapper has told Gomez he wants a girl, because "nothing would be better for him than to have a cute little Selena look-alike bouncing around." What's more, the seemingly non-existent tipster further purports that "he's mentioned to [Gomez] many times that two of her would always be better than one." But, as Gossip Cop has pointed out numerous times in the past, no one from The Weeknd's trusted inner circle is divulging such personal information about him with the site. It's all made-up.
Remember, we busted HollywoodLies, as it's often called, for creating a similarly bogus tale in April. The outlet wrongly claimed Gomez was considering getting married and having kids with The Weeknd, but, not surprisingly, the entire story was inaccurate. Four months on, the repeatedly discredited webloid is still insisting on fabricating phony reports about the couple. A trustworthy source close to the rapper tells Gossip Cop the latest article about him wanting to have children with Gomez is "not true." While starting a family could well be in their future, it isn't happening any time soon, and HollywoodLife certainly wouldn't be the first to know about it.
Of course, we're not remotely surprised by the site's latest tale. The outlet was caught lying about Gomez's birthday plans in July, creating a slew of bogus stories about how the couple were planning to celebrate. For example, Gossip Cop corrected the website for wrongly claiming Gomez spent her birthday in Paris with The Weeknd. That wasn't true, and for the umpteenth time, the webloid has once again proven it knows nothing about the couple.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
