The Voice Results November 21 2017

“The Voice” had its first results show for season 13 on Tuesday, revealing the Top 11 following an Instant Save. Get the full results and find out who was eliminated below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the NBC competition finally went live this cycle with Monday’s show. Following the Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts and Playoffs, coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and this season’s newbie, Jennifer Hudson, each had three artists competing in the Top 12. All of the contestants had to sing live for the first time, and while their superstar mentors could influence the song choices and performance styles, they would have no say over whose journey on the reality show continues and whose comes to an end. That’s right: America finally received voting power.

Among the night’s standouts was Addison Agen singing “She Used To Be Mine,” which landed at number at number nine on the iTunes singles chart at the close of voting, giving her a coveted 5x multiple on the votes cast by fans. She was the only singer in the Top 12 to score the bonus, which pretty much guaranteed her entry into the Top 11. As for the rest of the aspiring stars, they had to sweat it out as host Carson Daly announced one by one who else was safe.

Ultimately, two artists were left in jeopardy and at risk of going home: Jon Mero (Team Adam) and Adam Cunningham (Team Adam). Only one of them could make it through to the next round, but they each had the opportunity to earn redemption by singing on the spot. Of course, Levine would be losing a singer either way. Following the performances, for which Cunningham did “Fortunate Sun” and then Mero went with “I Want You Back,” a five-minute voting period opened up for viewers to tweet which contestant they wanted to save.

In the end, CUNNINGHAM WON! Unfortunately, that meant Mero got the boot. Going into next week, Hudson moves forward with Noah Mac, Shi’Ann Jones and Davon Fleming. Cyrus still has a full squad with Brooke Simpson, Janice Freeman and Ashland Craft. Team Blake also hangs on to its trio: Chloe Kohanski, Keisha Renee and Red Marlow. And now, due to tonight’s elimination, Levine is down to just Agen and Cunningham.
