“The View” co-hosts on Tuesday debated Donald Trump campaigning against Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s special election. Check out the video below.

A congressional seat was left vacant after Trump made Tom Price his health secretary. Now more than a dozen candidates are competing to replace him, with constituents headed to the polls today. And while a number of celebrities have thrown their support behind Ossoff, Trump has been slamming the aspiring politician, claiming the Democrat is unfit to serve.

“What is he trying to do?” Whoopi Goldberg asked about the president on the ABC talk show. She said of Ossoff, “I’m thrilled that this kid is running. He’s 30 years old and I’m thrilled that he wants to be in service, so I hope people will come out and support him, because he seems to be a fabulous candidate.” Joy Behar boiled down Trump’s objections to this: “[Ossoff is] a threat to the Republican party, because this is a district where Trump really won big there, and they’re not winning big anymore.”

Behar went on, “So they’re afraid that is a bellweather for what’s going to happen in the midterm elections.” Goldberg and Sunny Hostin further praised Osoff for holding his own in a field of 17 candidates, and Hostin said the “misinformation” Trump has spread about him is “significant.”

Remarked Jedediah Bila, “I think it’s interesting because he’s concerned this will be a referendum on his own popularity. I think this is all about ego.” She suspected Trump is asking, “Is this a reflection on people being dissatisfied with me?” “I think he’s smart to be pay attention to it,” Bila argued. “[But] I don’t know I’d say what he’s saying about it.”

And when it was pointed out that Trump is even doing robocalls to get people to vote against Ossoff, Goldberg exclaimed, “Korea, fool, Korea! Syria, idiot, Syria! What the hell?!” Bila agreed, calling the president “tone deaf” for putting his public focus on this instead of far more important issues. Watch the video below.
