On Tuesday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to Donald Trump sharing classified information with Russians. Watch the video below.

On Monday, multiple outlets confirmed Trump leaked classified intelligence to Russian diplomats during an Oval Office meeting. The White House initially denied the claims, but on Tuesday morning, the president himself actually confirmed he had, in fact, shared information. Trump defended his actions by saying he had the “absolute right” to do so.

Now on the ABC talk show, Whoopi Goldberg began by saying, “Another day, another example of why you just can’t make this stuff up.” She then introduced old clips of Trump railing against Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information. And after reading the president’s tweets from this morning, she questioned, “What is the real issue here?”

Responded Sara Haines, “Russia doesn’t have to work so hard to discover information. We’ll just tell them. They used to have to hack us.” Commented Joy Behar, “I don’t think the people who created our government expected to have a blabbermouth in the White House.” Jedediah Bila, meanwhile, defended Trump’s right to disclose the information and said she understands that he sees Russia as our “partners” in “combatting terrorism” and ISIS.

“My question was not whether or not whether he has the right to share this,” she said. But, she admitted, “My concern was, do you trust Russia with this information?” Her fear is that the intel will be “used against us and other regions of the world.” Sunny Hoston also expressed, “I don’t understand how you share it with the very country your country is investigating for collusion.”

She even stated point-blank, “I am scared to death now.” Behar wondered “when will the Republican party turn on him,” and Haines expressed concern that Trump’s actions not only “compromised the mission” against ISIS, but “also compromised any future intel.” Goldberg and Hostin shared those sentiments, and further ridiculed Trump for putting “lives in danger” abroad and at home.
