The View Mike Huckabeee Response

On Thursday’s “The View,” the co-hosts strongly responded to Mike Huckabee ranting about them and the show after his appearance. Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Huckabee and his daughter Sarah Sanders fought with “The View” panelists during a live interview on Wednesday’s show. During the intense discussion, the former governor and press secretary clashed with the co-hosts over their support for Donald Trump. Father and daughter repeatedly defended the president while the women pushed back. On today’s show, Goldberg said, “We did rather well yesterday… We had a really good discussion. We had a good time. But Mike has been all over [TV] since he left here telling a different story.”

She then showed a clip of Huckabee complaining about the talk, ranting that the co-hosts were “full of anger and irrational hatred towards the president.” Goldberg now said into the camera to address Huckabee directly, “You know what? We really worked hard to do a fair interview and I do resent that you would do that. I resent that you would do that because you would never say that about Stephen Colbert. You would never say that about Trevor Noah. We are not irrational. We asked you questions and told you how we felt and allowed you to do the same.”

Joy Behar also clarified, “I don’t hate Trump. I [just] don’t like what he’s doing.” Sara Haines also said she finds it a “little duplicitous” that, during the chat, Sanders said she was against lumping people into labels, but then her father ripped them all as “liberals and Democrats.” “We’ve very different,” she insisted. Sunny Hostin pointed out that “irrational” is also used to describe women like Senator Kamala Harris, and stressed that their talk was well-researched in advance. “We’re all very careful to be fact-based,” the lawyer said, which Behar later echoed.

As a former cable news personality herself, Jedediah Bila was particularly upset. She explained that such people typically go into “the ‘liberal cesspool’ or the ‘lion’s den,’ and you go in there and you defend your point and then you go back to the friendly zone and you say, ‘Oh, they’re out of touch with America.’ That doesn’t work here, Mike, because I am a conservative and I didn’t vote for Trump and I am standing for conservative principles.”

She went on, “You don’t get to say you came here and say the ‘liberal media’ opposed you. No, I sit right here, and it’s not irrational that I oppose Donald Trump… No more. There are people out here that stand here for principles and I am one of them and these women are one of them and you don’t get to pool us into the ‘media whatever.'” Added, Goldberg, “The other thing is, stop calling people names. We didn’t do that with you.” Haines even said, “Maybe I’m naïve, but I’m a little surprised the day after” to see Huckabee’s rant against them.

Goldberg got the last word, saying, “We do know you. And we respected your daughter. I’m kinda pissed off with you, Mike, and it’s not right.” Check out the full video below, beginning at the 2:18 mark.
