On Tuesday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to the sexual harassment allegations against Charlie Rose and his response to the accusations. Watch the video below.

Rose was suspended from “CBS This Morning” on Monday after the Washington Post published a story with eight women accusing the veteran journalist of misconduct. On the ABC talk show, Whoopi Goldberg noted, “Rose released a statement saying that he doesn’t believe all the allegations, but also that, quote, ‘I always felt I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken.’ He told TMZ last night there was no wrongdoing.” She wondered, “So is there an apology in this sort of non-apology?”

“It’s interesting. They all think it’s consensual. They’re 75, they’re 23. They think that’s consensual?!” Joy Behar said incredulously. Sara Haines and guest co-host Ana Navarro pointed out that this is a “pattern” among a number of the men who have been recently accused of improprieties. Sunny Hostin also observed a “common thread” with claims involving showers and women “being a part in this.”

She explained, “When you read the allegations against Charlie Rose, several of the accusers say, ‘I went to his executive producer Yvette Vega and I complained about the behavior and she did nothing.'” Behar mentioned that Vega has apologized for not helping the women, and Goldberg suggested she may have been concerned about keeping her own job. Hostin still questioned, “What happened to women standing together, sticking up for each other?” Goldberg argued that that’s only happening now amid all these scandals.

Referring to how “CBS This Morning” co-hosts Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King candidly addressed their colleague’s behavior, Navarro said, “I think what Gayle said today is so important: Nobody gets a pass. It’s hard to see somebody that you like, that you respect, that you know, that’s a friend of yours and learn that they’ve done this. It can’t be about who I like, it can’t be about politics, it can’t be about race, it can’t be about ethnicity, it can’t be about anything. Nobody gets a pass.”

She went on to joke that with these new admissions coming every day, “You all are going to be the only show left on TV to watch.” Check out the video below.
