On Wednesday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to Billy Bush wanting to get back on television months after his Donald Trump scandal. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Bush was let go from NBC’s “Today” show last October after a years-old video emerged of him having an inappropriate conversation with Trump about women. At the time, the two were together for an “Access Hollywood” interview, and Trump told Bush how he forcibly gropes women. The TV personality seemed to delight in the gross discussion, and afterward encouraged a soap opera actress to give Trump a hug.

Bush has been out of work since the tape leaked, but this week uploaded video of himself seeing a Grease parody as he received a haircut. Spoofing the lyrics to “Sandra Dee,” he sang, “Look at me, I’m Billy B, trying to get back on TV.” The ABC talk show’s audience jeered upon seeing the awkward clip, and the panelists had mixed feelings about it.

Whoopi Goldberg said, “He’s been thrown under the bus. The man who had these conservations with Billy is now in the White House and Billy is trying to get a job… Is there something wrong here?” Responded Sunny Hostin, “It’s the selective outrage we see in the country.”

Sara Haines, however, argued, “What Billy Bush said, though, was still not okay… It was uncomfortable to watch. Even though Trump should be punished, too, Billy Bush had to be accountable.” Goldberg agreed, “What you’re saying is absolutely true. If you’re pissed at one, you have to be pissed at all of them.”

But she thought only Bush has faced the fallout because he was the “easy one.” Joy Behar compared to it Bill Clinton getting reelected despite his cheating scandal, while Monica Lewinsky was vilified. Goldberg, though, wasn’t sure that was the right comparison, saying, “If you pay your dues and you get caught and they take you to task, okay.”

Still, she said of Trump and Bush, “That’s not just locker room talk. It just wasn’t.” Check out the video below.
