“The View” honored former president Barack Obama and slammed current president Donald Trump during a President’s Day segment on Monday. Check out the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, “The View” co-hosts revealed their favorite presidents at the start of the show, which was pre-taped to air on the holiday. Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin both named Obama as their favorites, while Whoopi Goldberg said FDR. But after a commercial break, the moderator said their Black History Month honoree for the day was the first black president of the United States.

That led Goldberg to say, “For all of those who question, continue to question, his track record, here are a few of his accomplishments: He brought the country back from the brink of financial disaster after big banks almost caused the economy to collapse. He saved over a million jobs by bailing out the American auto industry. He gave healthcare to over 30 million Americans with the Affordable Care Act. He ended the war in Iraq and ordered the raid that killed terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden. In his second term, he fought to make same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states. He instituted a wide-ranging executive action on climate change, immigration, and initiated sanctions against Russia for atrocities in the Ukraine.”

“So,” she declared, “if you want to know what a president does, THAT’S what a president does!” Joy Behar commented afterward, “The terrible thing is that the Trump administration is trying to undo a lot of these things.” Goldberg chimed in, “All of them!”

Behar continued, “It’s outrageous. The man spent eight years getting us to that point, and now these bozos are going to [bring] us back.” Added Sunny Hostin, “What’s incredible about the list of accomplishments — and those are just a few of his accomplishments — what’s incredible is he did it in the face of such obstructionism.”

Sara Haines also said, “What I’m going to miss about him is the era of a president you could show your kids… I think it’s sad. I think we can all admit, whoever you voted for, it’s the end of an era as you can no longer look to the First Family as an example.”

Behar went on to lament all that’s gone “wrong” during Trump’s presidency in a matter of a weeks, noting, “Obama, eight years, not one hint of scandal! Nothing!” Coming to the new president’s defense, though, was Jedediah Bila, who said, “Donald Trump was elected. He views it as his mandate by the electoral college.”

“He was elected by people who are essentially saying, whether you like it or not, undo a lot of this stuff because it wasn’t really working for us,” Bila argued. Watch below.
