On Monday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to Adele and Beyonce at the Grammys. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Adele’s George Michael tribute had technical difficulties, and later Adele honored Beyonce when the former won Album of the Year. The talk show’s panelists discussed both moments, with Whoopi Goldberg saying of Adele’s George Michael moment, “That’s a real performer. She wanted it to be right. She didn’t just want to carry on. When you’re doing a tribute to someone you actually respect, you want to get it right.”

Sunny Hostin admitted, “I was disappointed that Beyonce didn’t win album of the year for Lemonade. For me, it was so transformative. It talked about black female empowerment… It was just a reflection of black beauty for me.” She added, “I don’t think it got the homage that it should have received.”

Jedediah Bila commented, “Adele was my shining moment, though, for those two things.” She said of Adele’s tribute to Beyonce, “Breaking your Grammy in half, showing that we can share this… She is just such a model citizen.” Hostin then acknowledged, “She gave the homage that I thought Beyonce deserved.”

Sara Haines argued, though, “It’s so hard when you’re choosing between people… everyone up there is so talented.” She also said of the Grammy Awards’ host, “James Corden did such a good job.” But according to Hostin, it was Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy who “stole the show.” Check out the video below!
