Exactly one week ago, a tabloid reported that Teresa Giudice was “forbidding” her daughters from visiting their father Joe in Italy, where he’s currently living. We confirmed last week that there was no truth to the story. Gossip Cop’s reporting has officially been confirmed.

Last week, the National Enquirer wrote that Joe and Teresa were preparing for a divorce and their four daughters were getting caught in the middle. Part of the “divorce war” included Teresa refusing to allow her kids to visit Joe in Rome, as he awaits a final ruling in his deportation hearing.

Joe was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after being released from prison and faces deportation to his native Italy. He served a three-year sentence for 41 counts of fraud before being taken into custody by ICE. Teresa also served 11 months in jail for the same charges.

Gossip Cop debunked the false story claiming Giudice was forbidding her kids from visiting Joe in Italy after a source close to the family told us they would all be in Italy “this time next week.” That time has come, as Giudice and her kids arrived in Italy on Thursday. Their eldest daughter Gia confirmed the reunion with an Instagram post of the whole family.

Last week, the outlet quoted an alleged “tipster” as saying the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star had no intention of allowing her kids to visit because she was “afraid he won’t let them come back.” The phony story also alleged Teresa had no plans to travel to Italy, with the supposed “insider” saying, “Teresa won’t even consider going with them, she’s too busy with her career, and she still blames Joe for getting them into the mess.” This “insider” sure seemed to know a whole lot about nothing.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop’s source close to the family has proven reliable. The tabloid is likely unashamed of its faulty reporting. A retraction or correction has not been posted on the publication’s website, but oddly enough, its sister outlet, RadarOnline, posted an article about the family’s reunion. No mention is made of its sister tabloid getting the story so wrong.

None of this is surprising. The Enquirer was also wrong about the family back in September when it reported Teresa was demanding Bravo pay her daughters for their appearances on RHONJ. The tabloid didn’t have a clue as to what it was talking about. Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards recently noted that only the wives get paid for the various versions of the show. Teresa’s own lawyer also told us there was no truth to the article. With this latest development, it’s clear the gossip media has no idea what’s going on with the reality star, her husband or her children.
