Teresa Giudice won’t be able to send 16-year-old daughter Gia to college due to her mounting debt and reckless spending? That’s the claim in one of this week’s new tabloids, which says the “Real Housewives” star can’t afford the cost of her daughter’s education. Gossip Cop looked into the story and we can exclusively set the record straight.

The Bravo personality was released from prison in December 2015 after spending nearly a year behind bars for fraud, and was later forced to pay $414,000 in restitution to the federal government. A so-called “source” now tells Star, “Teresa doesn’t think she’ll be able to pay for Gia’s tuition when the time comes. She barely has any income and blows her money on cars and flashy stuff. It doesn’t seem like she’s learned her lesson at all.” The outlet’s questionable insider adds, “Teresa is flat broke.”

However, Gossip Cop called out Star’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, when it falsely claimed last month that Giudice is broke. The reality star’s attorney assured us that’s not the case, and nothing has changed in the short time since. We once again checked in with a source close to the TV personality, who exclusively tells us she isn’t worried about not being able to afford her daughter’s college tuition.

Star is the same unreliable outlet that wrongly reported in 2016 that Giudice was pregnant. Gossip Cop exclusively corrected the story, and obviously, no such baby ever arrived. We also busted the tabloid’s sister publication, OK!, for falsely claiming Giudice would divorce her husband Joe once he went to prison. He’s be incarcerated since March 2016 and she hasn’t ended their marriage. There’s been plenty of drama in the reality star’s life over the past few years, but the tabloid’s attempt to add even more turmoil is completely unfounded.
