A fan accused of stalking Taylor Swift was arrested outside her Beverly Hills home on Saturday, Gossip Cop can confirm. The 38-year-old man had traveled a few states by car to the singer's home in Los Angeles, all in an effort to meet Swift. And while he never saw the singer, he did come face-to-face with her security.

Swift's team called the cops after they spotted the man lurking in front of her residence. After the police questioned the man, he told authorities drove from Colorado to California to meet Swift, we're told he was put under arrest and booked for felony stalking. As TMZ was first to report, Swift's alleged stalker is currently being held in custody, and the police are helping to obtain an emergency protective order to keep the man away from the superstar. Swift wasn't home when the incident took place, law enforcement tells Gossip Cop.

Swift's Beverly Hill home has attracted other obsessed fans. Just days before, another man identified as Justin Lilly was arrested at Swift's mansion after he tried to scale a wall outside her property. While he was facing a possible six months for trespassing, Lilly was sentenced to three days in jail.

And just last year, another fan named Mohammed Jaffar was arrested for allegedly stalking Swift was arrested after he repeatedly tried to gain access to the singer's New York home. Jaffar went to Swift's New York City residence, beginning in December 2016 and even reached out to her management on many occasions, demanding to see the singer in person. He was unsuccessful and returned to her apartment building four more times before his arrest in March 2017.

Among the additional issues Swift has had with obsessed fans was in 2016 with a man named Frank Andrew Hoover. He was arrested for repeatedly violating a restraining order when, after Swift performed a concert at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the 39-year-old man followed her motorcade to a private terminal at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Hoover, who already had a lifetime restraining order against him and was required to stay at least 500 feet away from her, told airport staff he wanted to board Swift's private plane. Earlier this month, he was sentenced to 10 years of probation.

As for this latest arrest outside of Swift's Beverly Hills home, Gossip Cop will continue to update as more information is released. We have also reached out to the singer's rep for a comment.
