Taylor Swift is not "upset" with Karlie Kloss for wearing Justin Bieber merchandise, despite a ridiculous report. This silly story attempts to give the appearance of drama, all over a shirt. Gossip Cop can confirm it's simply nonsense.
"Justin Bieber Posts Pic Of Squad Member Karlie Kloss Wearing His Merch: Will Taylor Swift Be Upset?" asks HollywoodLife, which dramatically begins its article by asserting, "Sept. 13 may go down as the day that Karlie Kloss lost her Taylor Swift squad member card! Justin Bieber (an enemy of Tay's) posted a pic of Karlie wearing his merch. Uh-oh!" According to the webloid, Bieber "stirred the pot" when he shared on Instagram a paparazzi picture of Kloss wearing a shirt from his "Purpose Tour" line.
The site contends, "If it was any other celeb we'd be like, 'Oh, cool, another Belieber!' However, this particular supermodel is in Taylor Swift's squad and let's just say that there is some 'bad blood' between Tay and the Biebs! So, if you can put two and two together, you will see why we are a little bit nervous that Karlie may soon be eliminated from Tay's squad!" HollywoodLies acknowledges that Kloss is "obviously allowed to wear whatever she pleases," but suggests Swift isn't "in a very forgiving mood these days," and claims "wearing an enemy like Justin's merch may be just the kind of thing that would upset Taylor."
"We would hate for something like this to kill that beautiful friendship. But who knows what Karlie might make Taylor do now," adds the melodramatic outlet, which goes on to ask its readers, "What do you think of Karlie's decision to rock Justin's merch or Justin's decision to share the pic? Do you think either one was in the wrong? Do you think Karlie's relationship with Tay will be ruined?" The answer to all of these questions is NO. Bieber wasn't taking a shot at Swift by sharing a photo of Kloss is in his merchandise, nor will it affect Swift's friendship, and it's absurd to even make such allegations.
It only takes a quick look at Bieber's Instagram feed to see he's spent days posting pictures of people, famous and non-famous alike, sporting his branded attire. Including the snapshot of Kloss had nothing to do with Swift, nor was Kloss making a statement about aligning with Bieber when she wore the shirt. The two stars, however, happen to share a manager in Scooter Braun, another point the webloid fails to mention. Regardless, Gossip Cop is told that Swift has no problem with Kloss' style choices, nor would she. The outlet has also falsely accused Bieber of "stirring the pot" when it's HollywoodLies itself that's guilty of doing that.
And this isn't the first time the online publication has tried manufacturing drama for Swift and her friends. Back in January, the webloid accused Selena Gomez of breaking the "girl code" simply because she happened to be at the same club as John Mayer. And the following month, Ed Sheeran was similarly accused of breaking the "friendship code" because he praised Katy Perry during an interview. Now that same concept is being applied with Kloss and Bieber. It's not news. It's just clickbait designed to stir up fans with misleading information.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
