Taylor Swift is not “extra nervous” about the release of her new album Reputation, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this nonsense. Rather, we’re told she’s excited to share her album.

With the imminent release of Reputation, the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife claim to know “what’s going through TSwift’s mind right now.” So, the staffers at the site not only seemingly manufacture phony articles, but now they also moonlight as mind-readers? To attempt to lend credence to its horribly concocted report, the outlet asserts it spoke to a “source close to the singer.”

Before we get to the almost assuredly made-up quotes, Gossip Cop has been told on numerous occasions that no one close to Swift is talking to the often discredited site. Still, the blog alleges its so-called “source” says, “There are definitely nerves she is getting over because at the end of the day she just wants everyone to enjoy it.” Next, the outlet editorializes, “No need to be nervous T — we’re sure we’ll love all the new tracks.” HollywoodLies, as it’s often referred, seems to think that if it adds something positive, fabricating stories is then forgiven or, at worst, is even permissible. But it’s not.

The fact is HollywoodLife makes up a lot of stories about the singer. In the past, for example, Gossip Cop nailed the site when it manufactured a series of articles about Swift dating Drake. They were all lies. We also exposed the outlet when it published a completely fictitious tale about Swift being secretly engaged to Calvin Harris. And Gossip Cop busted the blog for a false report about Swift introducing boyfriend Joe Alwyn at her July Fourth party. Of course, the singer didn’t have an Independence Day bash this year.

Not one of those stories was remotely true. And in a slew of other untrue articles, like the current one about her supposedly being “extra nervous” about the release of Reputation, HollywoodLies maintained its information came from a “source close” to Swift. So, the site either often turns to untrustworthy and repeatedly disproven Swift sources or, as some believe, they’re simply churning out fake news. Regardless, a Swift insider tells Gossip Cop that no one in her camp is talking to the outlet and, if anything, she’s excited about the new album.
