A new story claiming Taylor Swift is refusing to "get involved" with Pink and Kim Kardashian's alleged "feud" is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth. We're told it's "not true."
During Pink's recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," a caller asked the singer if one of her 2016 tweets was directed at Kardashian after she posted a nude bathroom selfie. Responding to the question, Pink revealed that she was actually defending Bette Midler, who was feuding with the reality star at the time over the racy photo. "Honestly she went in one Bette Midler and if you go in on Bette Midler, you're going to hear from me," Pink said.
But according to the often disproven HollywoodLife, which is regularly caught peddling fake news stories about numerous celebrities, both Kardashian and Pink have "major beef," and Swift isn't "willing" to get "mixed up" in the feud. In its bogus piece, a clearly non-existent "source" is quoted as saying, "Taylor doesn't want to jump in on the Kim feud anymore," but "she loved Pink's comments. Taylor has always loved Pink," and thinks she's a "real inspiration and role model."
What's more, the website's questionable "insider" goes on to allege, "[Swift has] always been disgusted by the way Kim uses sex as her main currency. She thinks it's sad. Taylor wouldn't come out publicly and comment on it, because she knows she would get ripped to pieces." Concludes the outlet's dubious tipster, "But she really admires Pink and thinks her observations were spot on."
Let Gossip Cop explain what's really going on here. The entirety of the website's report is based on a single question asked by a "Watch What Happens Live" viewer. Clearly, Pink wasn't "reigniting" a feud between her and Kardashian, but was simply stating how she'll always defend Midler. But more importantly, the bizarre angle which consciously drags Swift into a non-existent feud is nothing more than a fabrication. The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer has no interest in their supposed fight, and is only included in the story for the sake of online traffic and clicks. Regardless of our suspicions, we still fact-checked the report, and a source close to Swift, wishing not to triangulate the concocted report even more, tells us on background the story is "not true."
Interestingly, while HollywoodLife was busy putting phony words into Swift's mouth, Pink was actually distancing herself from Swift. Just a few days ago, Pink openly stated she regretted siding with Taylor in her feud with Katy Perry. Pink told the Los Angeles Times, "I should've just kept my mouth shut."
Of course, we're not remotely surprised by the outlet's newest tale, as the untrustworthy blog doesn't have the best track record when it comes to reporting on celebrity news. Remember, Gossip Cop corrected the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies earlier this week for falsely alleging in a ridiculous article that Kardashian was refusing to let Swift "bully" Kanye West with more diss tracks. Much like that phony report, this latest one is equally bogus. See the video in which Pink talks about Kardashian here, which is around the 3-minute-mark.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
