Taylor Sieve and Robert Roldan performed a Broadway routine on Monday’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop reported, it was revealed on last week’s live episode, the first of season 14, that Sieve made the 2017 Top 10. A contemporary dancer from Minnesota, she impressed Roldan so much during the Dance Academy that he not only added her to his team, but chose to take Sieve to the live shows as his partner. Last week, the contestant and the All-Star amazed the judges with a stunning contemporary dance that received some of the night’s highest praise.

In behind-the-scenes footage shot after the episode, Roldan commended Sieve for starting to open up. She said she felt like she “let go,” and “now I just want to keep letting go in other styles and genres.” Now for their second live performance together, the pair was randomly assigned Broadway, with their dance choreographed by Al Blackstone. “It’s a little nerve-wracking, because you have to bring so much acting into it,” Sieve said during rehearsal.

But the performance, in which they had to dance like Fred and Ginger in a noir film to Judy Garland’s “The Man That Got Away,” received a standing ovation from the entire panel. “Taylor, you have a knack in making me cry. I’m just saying,” Vanessa Hudgens told Sieve. She went on, “You brought me back to being a kid watching musical theater for the first time and just falling in love with that magical quality of life where it seems like anything can happen.”

Seemingly choked up, Mary Murphy said, “I just didn’t want that number to ever end. It just transported me into another era as well, and I loved it… You’re a star, Taylor.” And Nigel Lythgoe noted that in addition to acting, there’s a lot of “nuances” in the Broadway moves. “You both did it brilliantly tonight,” he said. “You were excellent last week, you were excellent tonight. You’re the couple to beat, I can see that.” Check out the video below!
