Steve Harvey is not in the midst of a "$400 million divorce drama" over Kris Jenner, despite reports. Gossip Cop can debunk these false claims. Harvey's marriage is intact, and his wife Marjorie is actually close friends with Jenner.
But sister publications the National Enquirer and RadarOnline are both claiming Harvey's wife "walked out because he was getting too close" to Jenner. It's specifically alleged that his "cozying up to the Kardashian momager during closed-door business meetings, endless phone chats and nonstop text messages has sent Marjorie over the edge." The same so-called "source" is quoted in both articles as saying, "There was a huge blowout fight and Marjorie walked out threatening divorce."
"There's no way she was going to put up with Steve hanging around a man-eater like Kris," contends the supposed snitch. Though Jenner did cheat on her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian, she went on to have years-long monogamous relationships with Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce) and Corey Gamble, whom she's been dating for several years. Jenner and Gamble even posed for a photo with the Harveys in 2015. It's not clear why the momager is now being branded a "man-eater," but the outlets maintain the dynamic between Jenner and Harvey is inappropriate.
It's even claimed that "to further cement their relationship, Kris brought her brood to 'Family Feud.'" Actually, the real reason the Kardashian-Jenners appeared on the game show is because Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are huge fans of "Family Feud," as Kim revealed in a backstage video during the February taping. In fact, the Kardashians also appeared on "Celebrity Family Feud" back in 2008, when Al Roker was the host. Their participation now was not because something is going on between Jenner and Harvey.
Furthermore, when Harvey introduced Jenner on the program, he referred to the matriarch as "my wife's friend," prompting her to exclaim, "Love Marjorie! Love! So beautiful!" Clearly there is no love triangle between them. If anything, it was West's cousin, not Jenner, who appeared to be playfully flirting with Harvey throughout the episode.
Additionally, there's ample evidence that the host's marriage isn't over. Just last week, Majorie celebrated their anniversary on Instagram, writing, "11 years down.... a life time to go. Happy Anniversary Baby." She regularly posts photos of their life together, including their July Fourth gathering a few days ago. For his part, Harvey did the same, and also shared on Instagram his own anniversary tribute: "This woman has given me the absolute best years of my life happy anniversary darling....I love you." There is no "$400 million divorce drama," least of all a split involving Kris Jenner.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
