Mothers Day Tweets 2015

It’s Mother’s Day, and stars are taking to Twitter to pay tribute to the women in their lives, past and present. A number of celebrities are celebrating their own moms, including those who are, sadly, no longer with us. Many are also sending well-wishes to the mothers among their fans.

Katie Couric tweeted Sunday morning, “Thinking of everyone who is missing their Moms today. I know I miss mine every day.” Chris Evans wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to the most important woman in my life. 140 characters simply isn’t enough. I love you a million times over. #MothersDay.” Bethenny Frankel said, “Happy mothers day! Motherhood is the greatest gift i’ve ever received. Relax and enjoy today ladies! Xoxo,” and went on to give a shout-out to her fellow “Real Housewives.” And Fergie, pictured above with her mother Theresa Ann, tweeted, “When I was a little, my mom saw God blessed me w/a voice. She supported me & my dream. #JustLikeMyMother.”

“Honoring the heart of our mothers who care and nurture their loved ones where ever they are. The love that breathes life into all of us,” commented Goldie Hawn. Samuel L. Jackson exclaimed, “HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, LADIES!!” Patricia Heaton remarked, “Happy Mothers Day Tweatons. Best gift (besides family) is that @TheMiddle_ABC is officially picked up for next season! Huzzah!” And Mark Wahlberg posted, “Happy #MothersDay to the two best moms in the world @AlmaWahlberg and @rheadur!”

Some may think she is the typical celeb mom that has the nanny raise her child. Not a chance. She is doing such a great job w/ our daughter Willow, and it shows in her personality everyday. School drop off and pick up, gymnastics, swimming, horse riding, stuffy noses, fever, scrapes, cuts, nightmares, playgrounds, dance parties, nail painting, play dates, beach walks, crafts, baking; @pink never misses a single one. Willow has to be one of the luckiest kids ever because she has a mom that puts in the time and loves her more than anything. Good job baby, you are the true definition of ‘Loving Mother’ and ‘Woman.’

James Franco shared, “Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers! Damn, I got a GOOD ONE!” Freddie Prinze Jr. tweeted, “#MamaDay Hey! Mamas!
