Stars are celebrating International Women’s Day, offering their thoughts, feelings and wishes about the day that honors the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. See celebrity tweets below!

One of the strongest women on television, Kerry Washington tweeted, “Happy #InternationalWomensDay,” followed with a heart-eyes emjoi. Meanwhile, Viola Davis expressed, “#OneDayIWill, with every fiber of my being, own my own story. What’s your #OneDayIWill aspiration? #WomensDay2016.” And Ariana Grande hopes the celebration will continue forever. “happy international women’s day! ….. I mean week……. I mean month…… I mean year……. I mean life…..,” wrote the singer.

“America’s Next Top Model” winner and newly announced “Dancing With The Stars” contestant Nyle DiMarco celebrated mothers on the holiday. “Happy #InternationalWomensDay! More power to you and all the single mothers out there!” he exclaimed. Alec Baldwin posted a photo on Instagram of wife Hilaria and tier son Rafael, along with the caption, “International Women’s Day. The celebration is on at our house.” the actor wrote.

Kris Jenner marked the day with the help of a Beyonce GIF. “Wake up, conquer the world, repeat! Happy #InternationalWomensDay to all the strong, hard-working women out there!” she wrote. Kylie Jenner simply tweeted, “Happy #InternationalWomensDay.” And Sharon Stone commemorated the day by celebrating the women of the AIDS/HIV charity amfAR. She shared, “An honor to be fighting w @amfAR and these inspiring women. Happy #InternationalWomensDay.”

Paula Abdul noted, “It’s #InternationalWomansDay – let us continue to empower women and girls all over the world! #girlpower.” Reese Witherspoon used the occasion to honor the work of the Girls Inc. organization, writing, “Happy #IWD2016!! Honored to celebrate @girls_inc, supporting young women on their path to leadership.” Hillary Clinton tweeted, “Advancing the status of women and girls makes economies grow and nations more secure. It’s the right—and smart—thing to do.”
