Split won the weekend box office again. Get the details, and check out the full Top 10 below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Split is the latest mind-bending flick from M. Night Shyamalan, who both wrote and directed the project. The film centers around a crazed man, played by James McAvoy, who has more than 20 different personalities. It had a strong opening last week, and brought in another $26.2 million to stay atop the box office chart for its second weekend.

The Split victory meant a loss for A Dog’s Purpose, but the latter may have been doomed regardless of the former’s performance. Despite telling a heartwarming story about the bond between a man and man’s best friend, the movie has been dogged (no pun intended) by an animal abuse controversy. It’s impossible to say for sure how much impact that had on theatergoers, but the tale settled for a second place opening with $18.4 million.

Hidden Figures, meanwhile, still has awards season momentum. It took in $14 million to take third place and cross the $100 million-total mark. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, a new installment starring Milla Jovovich, debuted in the number four spot, thanks to ticket sales adding up to $13.85 million. And receipts of $12 million put La La Land in fifth.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage in sixth, with $8.25 million, followed in seventh place by Sing, which had a haul to the tune of $6.2 million. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story secured eighth with $5.1 million, while Monster Trucks nabbed ninth with $4.1 million. Just making it into the last spot was Gold. It earned $3.5 million.
