A man named Bond, James Bond, is once again conquering the box office. Spectre, the 24th film in the franchise and the fourth with Daniel Craig, easily defeated all the competition this weekend. The film took the top spot with $73 million in tickets sales. The Peanuts Movie, another highly-anticipated albeit very different offering, came in a respectable second place with $45 million.

Not surprisingly, the rest of this weekend’s movies didn’t perform quite as well. The Martian, which dominated the box office for much of the last month, nabbed a distant third with box office receipts of $9.3 million. Goosebumps secured fourth place with $7 million, while Bridge of Spies earned $6.1 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Hotel Transylvania 2 in sixth place with $3.6 million. Burnt took seventh with just $3 million, and The Last Witch Hunter came in eight with $2.7 million. The Intern secured ninth place with $1.8 million. Just making the Top 10 was Paranormal Activity with $1.7 million. Getting shut out was the Sandra Bullock film Our Brand Is Crisis.
