“So You Think You Can Dance” had its first elimination of season 14 on Monday, as the FOX competition went from the Top 10 to the Top 9. Get the results below!

As Gossip Cop reported, “So You Think You Can Dance” went live for the first time this season during last week’s two-hour broadcast. Over the course of the special episode, the All-Stars revealed their contestant partners, officially unveiling 2017’s “SYTYCD” Top 10. As each pairing was revealed, the duos had to dance live for the first time. The lone exception was Allison Holker and Logan Hernandez, as the aspiring star had a temporary partner due to an injury Holker suffered in rehearsal.

Nonetheless, judges Nigel Lythgoe, Vanessa Hudgens and Mary Murphy were still impressed by his contemporary performance. In fact, there were standout routines in hip-hop, ballroom and tap as well. The harshest criticism arguably went to Kaylee Millis and Cyrus Spencer for their contemporary dance, while Dassey Lee and Fik-Shun’s pop-and-lock routine was among the night’s standouts. Still, praise was given to virtually every couple over the course of the night.

And the installment marked the first time viewers at home could have a say in the competition this season. Fans could vote via phone and online for which contenders they wanted to officially make the Top 9. But America’s opinions would only go so far. As in past seasons, the three lowest vote-getters were in jeopardy, and then it was up to the judges to decide who would ultimately be eliminated. Hours before the new episode, Lythgoe even teased on Twitter, “I was shocked at the #SYTYCD bottom 3. It’s going to be a tough decision who goes home for @VanessaHudgens and @HOTtamaleTRAIN @DANCEonFOX.”

But before that bottom three was announced, everyone danced again. Though only the votes cast following last week’s episodes would determine the final results at the end of the broadcast, each duo took the stage with a new routine. And this time, Holker was well enough to perform with Hernandez, and they were commended by the judges for their jazz dance. In addition, all the contestants had to perform short solo numbers. Again, though, it was only the votes from last week’s performances that determined who was up for elimination.

With minutes left in the broadcast, host Cat Deeley revealed Logan Hernandez, Sydney Tormey and Robert Green were in danger. After the panel deliberated, it was announced Green and partner Jasmine Harper were going home. Head judge Nigel Lythgoe, who said tonight’s performances affected the ultimate decision, admitted it wasn’t unanimous. Now the Top 9 consists of Dassy Lee (Fik-Shun), Kiki Nyemchuk (Jenna Johnson), Kaylee Millis (Cyrus Spencer), Lex Ishimoto (Gaby Diaz), Mark Villaver (Comfort Fedoke), Koine Iwasaki (Marco German), Taylor Sieve (Robert Roldan), Hernandez (Holker) and Tormey (Paul Kamiryan).

But based in part on the votes cast tonight, one of them will be eliminated next week. Check out tonight’s results announcement below!
