Has Shia LaBeouf actually been hitting on Dakota Johnson while filming their upcoming movie? That’s the claim in one of this week’s new tabloids, but Gossip Cop has the truth.

According to OK!, the married actor is “flirting up a storm” with his co-star on the Georgia set of the indie drama, The Peanut Butter Falcon. A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “He’s really taken with Dakota and thinks she’s so pretty and talented. But Dakota’s not interested. Besides, she wants to focus on her work, because this is her first serious dramatic role.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to purport that LaBeouf “is always finding excuses to talk to her or interrupt her when she’s stuck in the makeup chair,” and she consistently has to brush off his advances. “He’s starting to become a real pest,” adds the questionable source, who further contends that the actor’s wife, Mia Goth, “would be wise to make herself present on that set.”

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with an insider involved in the film’s production, who exclusively tells us the tabloid’s claim is “ridiculous.” A mutual pal of ours and Johnson similarly assures us the magazine’s flirting report is “not true at all.” Despite OK!’s attempt at making it seem like a married man is looking to stray, there’s simply no truth to this story.

In fact, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to call out a tabloid for falsely claiming the actor was giving a woman unwanted attention. Gossip Cop previously busted OK!’s sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting LaBeouf acted sleazy towards female staffers at “The Late Late Show.” This latest article about the actor’s alleged misbehavior is equally bogus.
