Sharon Osbourrne Justin Bieber Apology

Sharon Osbourne apologized to Justin Bieber on Friday’s “The Talk,” expressing regret for badmouthing him over the years. Check out the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber posted a message to his fans earlier this week, explaining why he decided to cancel the rest of his “Purpose” tour to take a break from his career. Reflecting on his past, he wrote, “I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times, I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! I let bitterness, jealousy, and fear run my life!!!”

“I’m VERY aware I’m never gonna be perfect, and I’m gonna keep making mistakes but what I’m not gonna do is let my past dictate my future… What I’m not gonna do is be ashamed of my mistakes. I wanna be a man that learns and grows from them,” he said, adding, “Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE. I want my career to be sustainable, but I want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable. So that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be.”

Now on “The Talk,” the panelists were discussing Bieber’s candid note, and were asked to share what mistakes they’ve learned from. “I learned a huge mistake from Justin Bieber,” Osbourne admitted. “A few years ago when he first started to act up, I thought it was because he was a precocious kid who had huge success, wasn’t ready for it, and obviously wasn’t listening to his advisers. And I was wrong.”

“I should never have attacked anyone at that age, verbally, and made the comments that I made. So I made a huge mistake not knowing the circumstances that were going on in his life,” Osbourne confessed. Aisha Tyler responded, “I think it’s really the mark of a mature, fully-formed person to say, ‘Hey, I see that that was a mistake, and I take responsibility for it.’ You always own your stuff. It’s something I admire about you so much.”

Tyler continued, “A lot of people will lie, and they’ll cover, and they’ll backtrack and they’ll blame other people, and it’s nice that he’s not doing that either. I think owning your mistakes is a sign of maturity, and it’s both a sign of growth, and it helps you grow.” As Gossip Cop noted earlier, this marked Tyler’s last episode of “The Talk.”

Osbourne previously slammed Bieber in 2012, predicting he wouldn’t “stand the rest of time.” In 2013, she said the superstar was trying to be a “bad boy,” and that he didn’t “realize he’s white and not black.” And in 2014, she cracked that if she was Bieber’s manager, “He would have to go to the hospital to get my foot out of his ass.” As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber was defended on “The View” a few days ago.
