Scott Disick and Tyga are not doing a reality show together, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story. We’ve learned there’s no such project in the works.

But in its new issue, OK! announces, “Scott & Tyga’s R-Rated Reality.” According to the tabloid, the pals want to team up for a TV series about “their bad-boy lifestyles.” A so-called “insider” claims to the gossip magazine, “They want to do a ‘Girls Gone Wild’ thing, where they’re filmed carousing with women in places like Ibiza and St. Tropez.”

The supposed goal is to get “paid to party,” asserts the snitch, and the outlet contends the alleged show would “include nudity, so it’d have to air on late-night cable.” Referring to Disick and Tyga’s on-and-off significant others, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, the publication’s purported tipster adds, “Kylie’s livid about this, and she’s got Kourtney riled up, too.”

First, let’s look at this logically. Disick is under contract with E! for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” If he wanted to embark on a new reality show, he would either have to break his deal or it would have to air on that network. And given that a significant portion of “KUWTK” revolves around Disick’s up-and-down romance with Kardashian, a new program showing him cavorting with naked women would be, at best, counter-intuitive, and at worst, damaging to one of the show’s key storylines.

Similarly, as Gossip Cop exclusively reported, Jenner is getting her own reality show, and it’s likely Tyga will make appearances on it. That signals the same flaws in this OK! story. If Tyga’s doing that with his longtime girlfriend, he’s not going to do another reality series about the wild single life with Disick.

But here’s the kicker: Not only is there all these red flags indicating why the reality show described by OK! doesn’t make sense, but Gossip Cop has exclusively discovered that Disick and Tyga don’t even know anything about it. That’s right. While the tabloid is claiming the guys have this big plan for a TV show, and it’s upsetting their significant others, Gossip Cop is told by an impeccable insider that the publication’s article marks the first time they’ve even heard about it. So, in other words, magazine probably made up this “R-rated reality” tale.

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time the magazine has been caught fabricating. Nearly two years ago, Gossip Cop busted the same outlet for falsely asserting Jenner was pregnant with Tyga’s baby. We’ve also called out the tabloid for even more outrageously alleging Jenner was pregnant with Disick’s baby. With that history, it’s not surprising in the least that this untrue report about a Disick and Tyga reality show was likely manufactured out of thin air. But whether the publication made it all up or received bad information from its purported “insider,” the bottom line remains the same: This supposed reality show is not happening, and the contention was never fact-checked by OK!.
