A new story that claims to know why Scott Disick's relationship with Sofia Richie is "easy," after his romance with Kourtney Kardashian failed, is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this report, which was manufactured by the same site that more than a week ago maintained Richie and Disick had "split." Regardless, we're told the latest article is "false."
Not ones to be consistent (or accurate), the serial fibbers at HollywoodLife maintain that they know why the couple's romance works after "failing" with Kardashian. A so-called "insider" is quoted by the repeatedly discredited site as saying, "There's such an age difference between Sofia and Scott, but then, he's really just a big kid at the heart of it, so it all evens out at the end of the day." The same seemingly fabricated "source" adds, "Scott loves that it's so easy with Sofia, she doesn't 'nag' him like he felt Kourtney was always doing... Scott is definitely really happy with the way things are right now, and he credits Sofia with giving him a new lease on life."
That's interesting because a month ago HollywoodLies, as it's often called, posted an article with the headline, "Scott Disick Shades Sofia Richie: Reveals No One Will Make Him Happy Except Kourtney Kardashian." To be clear, the site now exclaims, "Scott Disick & Sofia Richie: Why Romance Is Easy After Failing With Kourtney," but a little more than a month ago it asserted that neither Richie nor Bella Thorne could "make him 'happy' like Kourt did." That's hardly the outlet's only flip-flip, exposing how it really has no inside information about Richie and Disick.
Just a few days ago, the website published an article that declared Disick and Richie had "split" and noted the reason the "dumped his younger GF [was] because he still has feelings for Kourtney." The outlet also alleged a source explained, "Scott was just tired of Sofia's childish games." So, a little more than a week ago the couple "split" because Disick "still has feelings for Kourtney" and was "tired" of Richie's "games," but now the blog maintains his relationship with her is "easy," compared to his past "failing" romance with Kardashian? What really happened was, after not being spotted for a few days, pictures emerged of a happy looking Disick and Richie in Miami Beach, and HollywoodLies quickly had to change its narrative again (below).
HollywoodLife fills out its flawed and seemingly fictionalized story by referring to another of its past articles, which Gossip Cop also debunked. The outlet contended and reiterates in its latest report that Kardashian is now "pretty hurt that Scott appears willing to give up his partying lifestyle for Sofia but not for her." As we pointed out, among the many problems with its premise that Kardashian is "hurt" he's "quit partying" for his new girlfriend was that in the middle of the day on Friday, he was drunk in Miami while with Richie.
Not entirely surprising, another lesser outlet picked up this made-up story without bothering to look into its claims. Celebrity Insider posted a piece with the headline, "Insider Tells All On Why Scott Disick And Sofia Richie's Unlikely Romance Actually Works So Well!" For the most part, it ran the same concocted quotations and shamefully didn't even attribute them to HollywoodLies.
Gossip Cop fact-checks every story, regardless of how obvious or not a claim appears to have been made up. A source close to Richie assures us no one in her world is sharing anything with HollywoodLies. Similarly, a Disick insider tells us the repeatedly disproven outlet's article is entirely "false."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
