Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick are not dating, despite a repeated lie. It wasn't true when one of the tabloids published the claim a week ago, and it's still false. Gossip Cop can correct this complete fabrication about them once again.
Last week, OK! ran an entirely made-up article about how Kardashian and Disick have been allegedly seeing each other on the sly. And even though the magazine had no proof whatsoever of them being in a relationship, its equally unreliable sister publication, Star, has now printed a nearly identical story. According to the latest attempt at selling this phony narrative, a so-called "source" claims Disick and Kardashian have been dating "under the radar" for months. It appears the tale is tied to a photo of the two kissing each other on the cheek after a lunch in early November at the Encino, California restaurant Emilio's Trattoria.
Much like the previous article, it's asserted that Disick and Kardashian's supposed "affair" is "turning serious." While many of the earlier story's quotes are recycled for this report, the new tale has its anonymous and seemingly fake "source" now maintain, "Scott is besotted, and poor Khloe has fallen head over heels." "They're going to get caught" by their significant others and the Kardashian-Jenner family, concludes the unnamed and untraceable tipster.
While Disick and Kardashian have always had a close relationship, it's never been anything but platonic. Disick is not fooling around with the sister of Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of his three kids. Nor is his girlfriend Sofia Richie remotely concerned by the friendly lunch Disick had with Khloe.
Again, the outlet offers nothing to substantiate its contention other than a photo of them saying goodbye after a very public meal together. As we noted the last time this inaccurate premise was floated, even the often sensational Daily Mail noted Kardashian and Disick simply kissed each other on the cheek after sharing lunch, and described it as nothing more than "familial affection." Tellingly, no reliable media organizations picked up the report after OK! tried to push this bogus narrative a week before.
At the time, a Kardashian insider told Gossip Cop that talk of Khloe and Disick being in a "secret romance" was "not true." Since we fact-check every article, we went back to our impeccable source, and on this go-around we were assured the tabloid's report still had "no basis in reality." It seems these magazines believe if enough of its sister publications and websites repeat the lie, more people will believe it as fact. But it's nothing more than regurgitated fiction.
It bears mentioning the tabloid has a habit of falsely linking Disick romantically to his ex-girlfriend Kourtney's other siblings. Three years ago, for example, Gossip Cop busted Star for a cover story that tried to dupe its readers into believing Disick got Kendall Jenner pregnant. That was obviously untrue, and so too is the latest claim about him hooking up with Khloe Kardashian.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
