Scott Disick never wrote a tell-all about the Kardashians, despite a report a year ago claiming he had a book in the works. Now it's 365 days later, and time has shown Gossip Cop was right to bust the allegation. We're now taking a look back at the false tabloid cover story.

On March 2, 2017, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for a cover that blared, "Kourtney Furious As Scott Tells All: Cocaine, Overdoses & Cheating." The gossip magazine alleged Disick felt ostracized from the Kardashian-Jenner family since he was no longer dating Kourtney, and now wanted to get revenge and make money at the same time. "He will do a chapter on each member of the family and reveal what has really gone on behind the scenes," a so-called "source" was quoted as saying.

"Scott knows every single secret about them, and it will help him make millions," continued the alleged tipster. The outlet went on to list all the topics Disick would supposedly address, such as the Kardashians' plastic surgeries, Kim's marriages and Rob's alleged "out-of-control drug use." It was even said he planned to dish on Kourtney's relationship with Justin Bieber.

On top of that, the publication also asserted Disick was scheming to obtain a "a million-dollar advance, plus movie rights and residuals." The purported "source" added, "Scott thinks a Kardashian film based on his book would be hugely successful." But no book was ever published and no movie is in the pipeline. That's because Disick never had any such memoir in the works in the first place.

Gossip Cop exclusively learned he had no plans to write a tell-all, and all of the contentions were fabricated. It made little sense for the tabloid to claim he wanted to "burn all the Kardashian and Jenner bridges." Disick continues to star on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," and he shares three children with Kourtney. Had he actually penned a negative tome about the family, he probably would've been fired from the show and his visitation with his kids would likely have been put in jeopardy.

And though Disick's relationships with the Kardashians and Jenners have changed since he is no longer dating Kourtney, he hasn't actually been alienated from the family. On the contrary, he's included in major events and Disick is regularly seen out with Kim, Kris Jenner and others. Furthermore, though Disick is jealous over Kourtney's relationship with Younes Bendjima, the two are still committed to co-parenting.

Given all that, it's striking that this off-base Kardashian tell-all cover story inspired a similar article in December, with Life & Style again claiming Disick was plotting to release a book to damage the famous clan. These reports certainly sound juicy, but a full year has passed and clearly reality does not support them.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
