Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are not having a marriage crisis, despite a completely false tabloid report claiming the spouses are headed for a split. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the alleged marital drama. We're told there's no truth to it.
According to Star, Parker and Broderick have grown apart over the years, and now their 21-year marriage is finally on the verge of ending over their busy work schedules. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Sarah and Matthew hardly see each other anymore, even when they are both in New York. The don't really have much in common at this point besides the kids [James, 15, and 8-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion]."
The outlet's questionable insider adds, "People are urging them to address their issues before it's too late." But Gossip Cop checked in with rep for Parker, who exclusively assures us the tabloid's article is total nonsense. We're told the longtime spouses aren't having marital problems, and the claim otherwise is entirely unfounded.
In fact, Parker opened up about her happy marriage to Broderick in the latest issue of People. "I think marriage has a lot of vitality," the actress said. "If you're fortunate, it's like this dazzling organism." And after being asked how the pair has kept their relationship going strong for more than two decades, Parker responded, "It seems so silly, but I think you're very lucky if you like the person. I still just really like him." Clearly, there's no marriage crisis.
It should be noted, the tabloids have been claiming for years that Parker and Broderick are headed for a divorce. Gossip Cop recently busted Star's sister outlet, RadarOnline, for wrongly reporting that the two were living in separate areas of their townhouse. Shortly before that nonsense, the magazine's other sister publication, OK!, published a bogus cover story falsely alleging that Broderick had cheated on his wife with a "stunning redhead."
Gossip Cop also recently debunked a ridiculous story about Parker putting Broderick on a "strict diet" because she was frustrated by her husband becoming a so-called "doughboy." The tabloids clearly have very little insight into the happy couple's 21-year marriage, as evidenced by Parker's own comments. This latest article surrounding a nonexistent split is another example.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
