The View Sara Haines Bleeped

Sara Haines was bleeped on “The View” on Thursday after she struggled with using the proper pronouns to discuss Caitlyn Jenner. The co-host meant no harm, but became upset with herself and dropped the S-bomb. Check out the video below.

During the live ABC talk show, Whoopi Goldberg showed a preview clip from this Sunday’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” season premiere, in which Kim Kardashian slams her former stepfather over her memoir. In the book, Jenner suggested Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian, didn’t believe O.J. Simpson was innocent but signed on to his defense team just to get back at his ex-wife, Kris Jenner. Kardashian rejected the claims, calling Jenner a “liar” and “not a good person.”

“It’s kind of an odd shot to take at the [step]dad,” Goldberg opined after watching the footage. Joy Behar argued, “Well, she’s writing a memoir, so she’s gotta write something or no one’s going to talk about it. Exhibit A!” Responded Haines, “That’s the point. Caitlyn’s always taken such a pride. She raised those kids from such a young age. When you know something like that’s gonna hurt, they’re living with that loss everyday… I just feel that’s a place I wouldn’t go. I think that’s a little sacred.”

Sunny Hostin commented, “I see it in all these memoirs. I know people want to tell their stories and there’s real value to reading about other people’s struggles, but I always learned family business you keep in the family.” Concluded Behar, “Then you can’t write the memoir.” Goldberg argued, “You can write about you. If the person is dead and they can’t defend themselves, I think you gotta take that off the table. When you make an accusation like that and the kids are stunned and the wife is stunned, and everybody’s like, ‘What the hell?!’ I think you have to be careful because he can’t get up out the grave and say, ‘Hey, that’s not what I said to you.'”

“It’s a he-said,” Behar then started to say before correcting herself, “It’s a she-said, she-said. Caitlyn says this is what he said, and ]Kim] says it can’t be. That’s the controversy of the book. I wouldn’t do it, but it’s still his — or hers, I keep getting my pronouns mixed up.” Haines suggested, “Call them ‘they,'” only to make an even bigger flub herself. “You have to talk about Kris, because Kris was a direct part of his life,” she said. As soon as the former “GMA” personality realized she said “his” instead of “her,” she frustratingly muttered, “Sh*t!”

And then she realized she just swore on live TV. Everyone’s reactions were pretty priceless. Watch the videos below.
