Is Sandra Bullock secretly married to her boyfriend Bryan Randall? That's the claim in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can set the record straight.
According to Life & Style, the actress and the photographer quietly tied the knot around 10 months ago, but they're hiding their marriage from the public. A supposed source tells the magazine, "Word is they had a secret ceremony, just them and [her two kids] at her home in LA. There was no fanfare, no bridesmaids, no wedding planner. It's what Sandra wanted - a simple ceremony for the only people that matter: Bryan, her son, Louis, and her daughter, Laila."
The alleged insider further contends that one of Randall's closest friends officiated the wedding, during which the couple "said their vows, exchanged rings, kissed and he pronounced them husband and wife." From there, the suspicious tipster says Bullock won't wear her "wedding ring" in public because she "doesn't want any comparisons to her marriage to Jesse James," who she divorced in 2010 after he cheated on her. In reality, the magazine seems to be coming up with an excuse as to why the actress has never been spotted wearing a ring.
Still, the seemingly phony source adds, "That's the reason she held off on marriage and why she's not ready to shout her love from the rooftops. Sandra and Bryan don't need to prove their love and commitment to anyone but each other."
The tabloid's story is based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable "insider," but Bullock's own spokesperson is going on the record to dismiss it. Despite what the outlet's unidentified source claims, a rep qualified to speak on the actress's behalf confirms she's not secretly married, and no backyard wedding took place 10 months ago.
Of course, Gossip Cop isn't surprised by the magazine's bogus report. It's quite clear at this point that Life & Style has no insight into the actress's relationship. In December 2017, the outlet wrongly reported that Bullock and Randall were having a "winter wedding" in Europe. That obviously never happened.
Last April, Gossip Cop busted the publication for falsely claiming Bullock was pregnant with Randall's baby. That never panned out either, but just two months ago, the tabloid once again said Bullock was expecting a child with her boyfriend. This latest article makes no mention of the actress being pregnant. The outlet seems to be making up stories about Bullock and Randall's romance as it goes along.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
